The
ensemble ‘Century rhythms’ in Kishinev
The children ensemble
‘Century rhythms’ was created in Kishinev by Tatiana and Anatoly Trilisky in
1982 year and was honored with the
title ‘Model’ a year later.
It was unusually because it
did not take much time for creating a unique collective.
Why was it unique?
At first it was the only
sport dance child’s collective honored with the title in the former Moldavia
republic (and may be in the USSR).
At second the ensemble had a
program in two parts with the dresses great variety and private rehearsal and
concert hall with many interesting performances.

Who could play rock-ballet
‘Karate school’ in 80-th? The ensemble ‘Century rhythms’ had done it.
Karate and gym trainers, producers, light assistance, modelers and others were
invited for these projects by Tatiana and Anatoly.
More than 200 pupils were in
this ensemble from 5 till 12 years old. Except show and sport program the great
attention was paid to ballroom dancing (that time it was called another way).
Children participated in all the competitions and went to other cities and got
prizes.

But the most important thing
is an interesting life that was in the ensemble. Children with trainers had a
rest and show on vessels and had vacations in pioneer camps, went to forest with
tents, took part in governmental concerts and held show on TV.
One day the Moscow
representative (YUCC) saw a group and was enraptured with the collective and
sent to our group 40 free invitation cards to the International pioneer camp
(Orlionok). Unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to use it because the
city administration decided to give these invitation cards to their children who
were in the ballroom dance collectives with other teachers and with moldavian
surnames not with jewish ones! Nobody went by the end because Tatiana and
Anatoly made a complaint to Moldavia CPCC but it’s another story…
It was the furniture plant
‘Kodry’ that built and sponsored the Culture Palace ‘Orion’ where the
ensemble was created.
‘Century rhythms’ is
existing now. Its manager is one of the Trilisky pupils. His name is Vladimir
Kartavchenko.
